Erwin Angerbauer , Director, Business Development

Erwin started his career with Infineon Technologies in Munich/Germany, then known as ‘Siemens HL’ Semiconductor Division, in 1995 as a Process Engineer in the Corporate Backend Department. He was responsible of discrete RF devices in Germany and Malaysia with focus on new product introduction (NPI) in South East Asia (SEA).


In 1999, he was appointed into the Industrial Engineering Team as functional team head to manage best practice sharing with worldwide outreach.  His focus was cost reduction, material and headcount efficiency. In addition he was assigned a member of the Infineon carve out expert team when ‘Siemens HL’ became ‘Infineon’.


From late 2000 onwards he was assigned as a project manager to the factory and resources management group for discrete components. His responsibility was to manage innovation projects for SMD components from Idea to mass production. His focus was SEA. 


In 2004, Erwin took on world wide project and production management ownership for power, bio and consumer systems (modules) including Operations and Subcontractor Management. In this role he has been assigned to Sweden and China. His efforts led to ASIC business worth USD50Mil during his presence.


Mid of 2006 he took on a Senior Management position and was assigned to Singapore for the ASIC business unit as Head of Business Management Emerging Markets & Operations Asia-Pacific.


Erwin holds a Masters Degree in Microsystems from University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany and a post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from REFA Institute, Darmstadt, Germany.
